​My why...

I decided to start my graduate journey when I felt a little stuck in the classroom.  I wanted more out of my career, but didn't know what or how to do that.  After talking with my husband, a Lamar graduate alum, and doing some research I decided to take the plunge.  To say that I am a little apprehensive and nervous is an understatement, but I am also so excited to begin this journey.  My hope is that with the learning I do in this program it will help launch me into an exciting future to better myself and my students.
